Tara Lee serves as the Executive Director of CHESS Christian School and Preschool. As Tara completes her M.Ed degree from Cedarville University, coupled with her background in Homeschooling, Social Work, Psychology, and HR, Tara implements a vision for leadership and development to the administration, faculty, and students of CHESS. Beginning with their four children, Tara and her husband, Jeff, are passionate about serving the next generation through education to impact the Kingdom for Christ.
Ruth has a passion for Christian education and has been part of the Homeschool/Hybrid community for 6 years. Ruth and her family currently live in Germany, from where Ruth enjoys traveling to European countries. With an degree in accounting, Ruth serves the CHESS families from afar as the Operations Director, and also teaches an online Digital Presentation Course. Her favorite verse is, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Amy Frederick is a graduate of Dayton Christian and Moody Bible Institute. She taught Elementary Special Education at Dayton Christian for several years, and then shifted her educational focus to her home, where she successfully home schooled her 4 children. Amy worked closely on the accreditation of CHESS Christian School, and seeks to ensure CHESS offers strong academics to supported teachers from a curriculum saturated in a biblical worldview. Amy and her husband of 17 years, Pete, enjoy raising their four children in the Lord.
With Susan’s degree in Early Childhood Education, combined with her love for children and experience in homeschooling, Susan serves as the K-12 Principal and directs the CHESS Christian Preschool with enthusiasm and diligence. Susan approaches education with grace and truth, and enjoys being a part of helping students become who God created them to be. As a wife to Paul, and mother of five, Susan enjoys spending time with family, watching her children’s sporting events, and reading.
